BETWEEN

SASKATCHEWAN ASSOCIATION OF HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS

AND

THE CANADIAN UNION OF PUBLIC EMPLOYEES

Re: Payroll Deduction of Professional Fees

The parties agree that the Employer(s) and the Local of the Union will meet to discuss the implementation of payroll deductions as an option for payment of professional fees required as a condition of employment.

The following conditions will apply:

All Employees interested in payment of professional fees through payroll deduction will complete a "Payroll Deduction Authorization" form authorizing the Employer to deduct the appropriate amount of money to cover the professional fees for the applicable year.
The Employer will collect, remit and forward the dues, along with any information required by the licensing body. Any shortages and/or overages will be dealt with as per existing policies and procedures (where applicable).
The Employee recognizes that professional registration is the primary responsibility of the individual.
